A simple concept: startup culture in cities around the world gathers around a bar to have a pint and discuss what they are working on, what they need help with and what they can do for each other. In Seattle, Startup Drinks meets generally on the last Friday of the month, at a different bar each time. This month we’re heading to The Dubliner in the Fremont neighborhood.

This event is for those over 21 and is free, with a no-host bar (buy your own drinks).

Seattle MindCamp is a a 24 hour unconference, in the tradition of FooCamp or BarCamp. In a nutshell, it’s a very flexible model which theorizes that in most conferences, the benefit is not in the high-paid speakers but in the amazing variety of expertise and experiences within the conference-goers themselves, so why not let the attendees drive the content of the event? Don’t worry, you won’t be required to present on anything, you can tag along for the ride. You learn a lot and it’s a lot of fun.
