A simple concept: startup culture in cities around the world gathers around a bar to have a pint and discuss what they are working on, what they need help with and what they can do for each other.

I’ll advocate for a belltown location. Pioneer Square is even better. It’s seedier and more of a startup hub, dammit.
I’d also advocate for a google-group or mailing list so I don’t have to check this damn blog.

I think this means we spend the last Friday of each month burning through that awesome list?

Aloha ya’ll! I just moved to Seattle a few months ago and am still getting the hang of it. I’ll most likely be at the next meetup, so hopefully I’ll get to meet you all.
In the meantime, I invite you all to follow me on Twitter (http://twitter.com/sassmo) and I’ll follow you back. I’d also like to encourage everyone in Seattle to start using http://hashtags.org/tag/Seattle/ and posting #Seattle in any posts related to anything Seattle - the weather, restaurant reviews, traffic, etc.
Not only because it would be nice to build some more online community around Twitter, but also because it helps noobs to Seattle like me figure out cool new places to visit, etc.
Thanks and hope to see you next Friday!
